Government Contractors Optimistic About Coming Year

A new survey of hundreds of government contractors found that more than half of such businesses saw an increase in revenue over the past year or so, and more expect further revenue in the months ahead.

Of those surveyed, 54% reported higher government revenue in 2023, and 62% expected higher government revenue for the rest of 2024 when they were surveyed in January of this year.

IMTS 2024 Preview

With more than 1.2 million sq-ft of exhibit space, featuring the latest technologies and solutions at 1,500-plus booths, the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) is back!

The biennial event will be held Sept. 9-14 at its usual home in Chicago’s mammoth McCormick Place. The mega-conference, which is put on by AMT – The Association for Manufacturing Technology, is billed as the largest manufacturing technology show in the Western Hemisphere—where creators, builders and sellers come together.
