Mitsubishi Electric Shows Advanced Tech in Demonstration Vehicle

The Mitsubishi Electric Corporation just recently announced its newest project, Project Emerald Dove. This project is in collaboration with an AI start-up and the goal is to develop a customized automotive AI assistant that can accrue knowledge and comprehension. Emerald Dove features a vehicle with a premium in-cabin experience that uses the latest and most powerful computer platform. Throughout the test vehicle are eight displays with various resolutions ranging from HD to 4K. One of which being the main cockpit display, provides powerful computing and connectivity features.

Electric Truck Manufacturer to Open new Assembly Plant in Illinois

A Canadian manufacturer of electric trucks and busses are investing $70 million to build a new assembly plant in Illinois. Lion Electric estimates this new plant will be able to produce 20,000 vehicles annually. This new 900,000 square-foot factory is expected to begin production in the fall of 2022 and will create 745 jobs.
